James Duffell, on this campsite in October 2019

Travelling party: Couple

The site is adjacent to a main road (and there’s one the other side of the river), but they remained pretty quiet while we were there.
A large site with plenty of permanent cabins, but almost completely deserted (just one other camper van on site). The pitches all seemed pretty level and we found one right beside the river. Some had gravel for camper vans wheels.
No wifi was detected at our pitch.
Not all the sanitary blocks were open, so both sexes were directed to use the same one. There were no hand-washing facilities in the toilet block.
The showers were hot (once the hot water finally came through the pipes) and controlled by a push-button mixer tap.
At night the site was completely dark and utterly quiet.
Would we return? Yes

Travelling party: Seniors

Location very good on the Dordogne river (with direct access) and near to village but very disappointed with rest of site. All public areas overgrown, all pitches had very long grass and overhanging branches from trees making access difficult. Showers adequate but a little tired. Swimming pool was disgusting, very cloudy water with lots of dirt at bottom of pool and green algae floating on the surface. Entry steps to pool lying on the concrete by the side. According to ACSI book, pool should have been available from 15 June and we were there early July. Has all the makings of a good site but staff didn\'t seem to know what they were doing.
