security is a issue on this camp site as a foot path runs along side the river and into the site all open to the public.Pitches not clearly defined and over crowded with one pitch having 3 camper-vans on it ,worst site we’ve ever been on in 25years of touring France

only came with the intention of staying one night. But we stayed for two. Beautiful views of the city of Bergerac.

This campsite has the closeness of Bergerac as its major advantage. That is the only reason for stopping here. We experienced rains whilst here and the density of the trees and its subsequent coverage made it very dark and very muddy, took a while for ground to dry out. Such a shame cos Bergerac is a must-see town within easy walking or cycling distance, with its lovely architecture and restaurants. If they could only cut back some of the trees it would be an improvement. No light in our pitch.

Beautiful location. Wonderful waking to the mists rolling down the river ... listening to birds song and watching shooting stars.
Lovely stroll to the town of bergerac which we found very welcoming.
It did rain and get a bit muddy but we read the reviews and expected it.
The loos are a bit tired and showers could be warmer but for the price we wouldn't complain. We didn't pay luxury prices so didn't expect it. Overall we were more than happy. We will definitely be going back.

Very welcoming campsite, early October so plenty of room. Got pitch right by river. Easy access to Bergerac and the cycleways with excellent bakery and Lidl just a short walk away.
The facilities are a little dates but very clean and functional with a good hot water supply. Noted a new Disabled facility which our neighbour was very pleased with.
At this price per night (no electricity) there\'s nothing really to complain about.
All in all a thumbs up from us.

great location with a short walk over the river into Town. Bergerac is worth a visit. staff lovely on arrival. toilets/showers are not good. showers up above the toilet block not easily accessable at all. site is overall a bit messy. limited other options in Bergerac so no real choice.

super site , right on the river , and in town walking 5 minutes, very helpful staff, great place to stay and visit area around town,stopped extra night as it was so welcoming and peacefull, site is nothing special ,but the staff and friendliness, makes it special

Emplacements offer lots of shade

Site manager very efficient and friendly.Flexible when possible about arriving when office close
on banks of Dordogne although view limited by trees.
High turnover..lots of overnight stops.

Having left a previous site that was far superb and charged the same this site is not worth the price. it’s dated and unloved. Only plus going for it is that it’s a 10 minute walk to Bergerac.
The lady in reception was amazing though and very helpful. It’s just that the grounds could do with some flowers. would not return.

Great location and a short walk into the lovely town of Bergerac with really friendly staff. The shower and toilet facilities really need updating and are of poor quality, no soap or toilet paper provided. The pitches were really wet and very muddy because of recent torrential rain. The site could do with an upgrade as it is in a perfect location along the river and for visiting Bergerac.
