Turckheim is a delightful town and this site is ideal for visiting it with the added advantage of the station close by. We were fortunate to arrive whilst the Friday morning Market was on and can recommend the meringues from the stall which is there on the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month. We also visited the caves which were also very close to the site and were grateful to do this on foot so that there was no drinking and drinking! The only criticism of the site is the chemical toilet disposal which was situated in the washing up/laundry area. As the partitioning between this area and the ladies facilities wasn\'t up to the ceiling there was always a bit of a pong. It wouldn\'t deter me from returning although there is a motorhome aire with no facilities between the town and the site.

This is an excellent campsite with nicely renovated facilities. Pitches are level, though size varies considerably, and ours drained very well after a thunderstorm! The picturesque town centre is a very short walk away and has a number of cafes-bars and restaurants together with a small but adequate supermarket. There is a regular bus service to Colmar from just outside the site and several pretty villages are within a short drive. The castle at Haut Konigsburg is well worth a half day and do stop at Bergheim on the way back. The Cave De Turkheim is within walking distance and sells good local wine at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

One of our favourite campsites in the Alsace. Pre-booking necessary, even in autumn as the site is often full after lunch. Staff reserved a great, very large pitch for us on a corner. Reception was very friendly and helpful at all times. We kept prolonging our stay and were there for a week in the end. Sanitary facilities appeared to be new, heated, and outstanding, with automatic taps. Campsite is within minutes walking into the small town, across a footbridge. Lovely small town or big village, very picturesque and less overrun with tourists and tourist shops as nearby towns. Lots of possibilities for visits elsewhere and walks in the area. A little more difficult to find somewhere immediately off site if you are a dog owner.

Really nice site. Toilets and showers very modern and clean. Timer on the shower button nice and long so you don’t have to keep pressing it. If I had to find a fault it would be no hand dryers or paper towels but that’s pretty picky. Pitches a good size with small hedges separating them. On arrival was asked to walk the site and pick a pitch number which was nice. Staff very friendly. Storks a nice novelty. Electric was good 16A with CE (blue) sockets. Turckheim a short walk and a real gem. Cycled in to Colmar also very nice. Security seemed good, felt very safe. Would definitely come back again, nothing really negative to say about this site.

Selected at last minute en-route from Italy back to UK. Excellent modern toilets and showers and large pitches. Good electric and water at some pitches. Busy whilst we were there but very pleasant staff. No pool or shop but bread could be ordered. Table tennis and table football tables need replacing though! We had a pitch near to the toilet block but it’s quite a walk from the far end. Looks like there is an old block at that end that has been taken out of commission.
Storks roosting around the town make for good photography and entertainment wandering around the site. Reasonably priced. Good cycle paths into Colmar (5 miles) which is well worth a visit and everyone in the area very friendly. Very considerate French drivers too! Also visited the Schlumpf motor museum in Mulhouse which is about 30 miles away – incredible selection of cars.

The site is in a lovely location within walking distance of the town and there are many interesting places to visit close by. Cycle routes are fantastic. We booked our pitch in advance providing the length of our caravan but on arrival we were given a pitch which was too small for our caravan. The site was not able to give us a larger pitch until the next day so we had the inconvenience of moving. The maintenance of the pitches and site in general could be improved. Toilet block was excellent and well maintained. The storks nesting on the site were an added bonus.

Lovely location - surrounded by vineyards. Beautiful town in walking distance. Lucky to see the storks visiting the site. Great toilet facilities. No bread on site but lovely bakery walking distance. Easy train ride to Colmar. Would visit again.

I can't say anything that as not been said before about this site and town , from booking in made easy by the excellent English speaking receptionist to the short walk in to the very beautiful and interesting town and who can forget the storks can't wait to visit again.

A gem. We visited in the middle of October when the rest of France was closed. Large pitches and great heated shower block. The German influence can definitely be felt here. On site storks very photogenic. As stated in other reviews Turckheim is a beautiful little village and Colmar 15 mins by train. Nearby Caves de Turkheim is a quality wine producer and prices are competitive esp. the Grand Crus.

Perfect in every way for us. The welcome from the English speaking receptionist was friendly and professional and she patiently answered my many questions about the local area, and requests for local walking and cycling maps.
The toilet block is superb, warm clean and with toilet paper, handwash and dryers - it is not often that you get all three!
It is a few minutes walk to the beautiful Turckheim and a cycle path is right on the doorstep.
WiFi is free and fast. There is no swimming pool, but I don't use them anyway.
