Easy to find making it an ideal stop over. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Amenities clean and nice. Site area is very good and easy to site unit. Would use again.

Disappointing overall. Dark and not very clean toilets/showers. The site is definitely not quiet at night as there is dreadful loud music from 20:00 until 22:30 - the French do seem to like their “animations”. Site appears to favour the new chalet style accommodation over the transient campers. It would benefit from a review from the ACSI inspectors as I feel it needs re-grading.
On the positive side the pitches are a good size.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Stayed in a motorhome with son and family on adjacent pitch. Facilities were very clean and even with a full site had no problems waiting for showers. Swimming pool was good but our 7 year old was too big for the paddling pool yet being a new swimmer was reluctant to use the large pool as it was too deep for him to stand up. The pitches were an excellent size but be aware the childrens entertainment tent has extremely loud music which some nights only ended at 10.45.

The previous owners were from the village of Saint Croix and have sold to new owners on retirement.
Emphasis would appear to be moving to greatly increased rental homes which are jammed close together. The new additions are near the far sanitation block and up at the far end of the park.
Cleaning and maintenance of the blocks has dropped. In the 2nd block, men's toilet the right hand sink tap was not fixed over our 4 day stay. The same problem exists in the men's shower area on the far right side. Walls in all areas for both sexes not properly cleaned.
Staff are devoting more time and effort in equipping the many new mobile homes.
On arrival we found the office area was closed for lunch. On a busy site this is just not acceptable as customers are not getting any service.
While waiting for the office to open we did have an excellent lunch at a reasonable price.
The evenings were disturbed with loud music and numerous children running about and very noisy. The music would eventually cease at 11pm
Why did we not advise the office of our concerns? It was because we would have to wait an unacceptable amount of time as there were not enough staff manning the desks.
To make matters worse the restaurant was shut down " due to exceptional circumstances". In this day and age such closure is totally unacceptable and management should have the the restaurant kept opened, even utilising a limited service.
The discription in the handbook gave a glowing outline of what to expect, however reality is that the new owners have badlytaken their eye off the ball and need to up their game.

A lovely site in a wonderful location close to many beautiful villages, cycle routes and countryside. Very close to the border with Germany so the Black Forest is well worth a day trip. The temperature during over stay was in the mid 30's C so the lovely swimming pool was very welcome. We paid a fee for arriving slightly early which seemed a little petty as the pitch we had booked was available but we had a really lovely stay at the site.

Fab site. For visiting the area. Located about a mile out of village no footpath dangerous road. Ex site. Beware if you arrive before 12 me you must pay extra. Advisable to check availibity as totally full. Will definately come back. Very child friendly. Carry out chip shop spotless site.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Stayed for two nights travelling back North from Switzerland. Ideal position just off the A35. Nice large pitches all well delineated and very flat. Toilet blocks are excellent as is the reception/bar/cafe area. The staff are also very helpful, several spoke excellent English. Be aware some pitches need a very long hookup cable, 30m+.
