Travelling party: Couple

This is a busy campsite on the edge of a lovely city,so pitches are small and cramped. Nevertheless they are adequate and more than acceptable for a short 2 or 3 night stay.
Facilities are very good and modern. You can walk into the city, approx 25 minutes or catch a tram or bus 5 minutes from the site. Supermarket available approx 15 minutes from site.

Good location for bus and tram to centre of Strasbourg. Entrance is under narrow bridge. At weekends cars parked on both sides of road before bridge can make access difficult. Street is a ‘play street’ so pedestrians have priority. Road seems to be clear on week days.

Stayed 2 nights on the way south. Friendly staff, pitches OK bit muddy and a slight slope to some. Bus stops outside for town No 2 red or walk 5 mins for tram to Homme du fer. Toilet block a bit small for amount of sites. we liked it

Stayed three nights to view the city of Strasbourg. The site itself is very modern but with drainage issues in nearly all pitches. When we visited they were busy with adding hardcore to some pitches but it was all geared to motorhomes, strange but I suppose this reflects the clientele. Wifi was excellent and free. Another strange issue was the nearby church bells ringing every 15 minutes, day and night! The site is also very, very close to a series of main railway lines! overall, not so good and I would not revisit.

Travelling party: Couple

Popular campsite. We booked for early September, a good job as it was full and turning away on spec arrivals.
The pitches become very muddy when it rains. The only water and drainage points are in the two facilities blocks which is a bit odd. But we have stayed three times on this site and have always found the facilities to be very clean. Wifi is free. Bread can be preordered or bought from a bakery a couple of minutes walk from the site.
Excellent base for exploring the city. We have bikes and used the cycle path into the centre. There is a Lidl close by, a short drive or accessible via a footpath / cycle path. Overall a very good site.

Nice site with great facilities. Bus into town from gate drops at station a short walk from centre. Alternatively a short walk from site brings you to trams running to city centre. Nice site, would use again. Staff not unfriendly but have come across friendlier ones. To use MH service facility you need a token but will not give you one until you are parked by facility.

Travelling party: Couple

Visited mid June, expensive non ACSI rate. Pitches unkempt, only one facility block open despite site being full. No hot water in showers or washing up, no shade for pitches. Not my idea of a 4star more a 2 star. Only good thing easy access to city via tram.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Stayed here after reading reviews. However the reviews were very misleading. There is a general lazy approach to this campsite by staff. They closed one of the toilet/shower blocks after the first night. probably so they only had to clean the one block as they don't seem to clean them if they don't have too. Shower floors so dirty you want to shower in flip flops to avoid contact with the floor.
They closed the restaurant on the 2nd night. When asked why they just shrugged there shoulders as if to say 'thats why'
The water in the swimming pool is not clear more like pond water.
There is a general can't be bothered attitude to this site. There were other unhappy campers arguing with staff while i was there. I only stayed on the site for 2 nights and will never return. Hopefully this review will be of more of an honest opinion for others.

Spent first night in their car park without electricity. I had phoned 2 days before and they said no need to book. We arrived after long drive to be told Full. Got on to a pitch next day and stayed 2 more nights. Easy 10 minute walk to the tram stop through a pretty park. Trams to Strasbourg centre about every 10 minutes. Strasbourg well worth visiting. Very pretty old parts and cathedral.

What a fantastic site. It's a ten minute walk to the tram which gets you into the centre of Strasbourg in 15 minutes. The site was busy even in April. Huge reception and very helpful staff. The facilities were modern and plentiful. A pretty walk of 5-10 minutes took you to the local Lidl, past an old Jewish cemetery which I found interesting.
