Travelling party: Couple

Very nice campsite. New and tidy toilet facilities. Campsite divided in separate areas for child families. Friendly and helpful staff. No restaurant on the site, but an italian restaurant with really good pizzas just outside the campsite.

Travelling party: Couple

large site with quite a few permanent vans sited and pitches were quite small, luckily we were given one of the bigger ones. Facilities were reasonably clean but small and only a tiny shelf to put anything on, water not always hot. Access ok but have to cross a bridge with 3.5 tonne restriction, new one being built. Unable to find a grey water waste disposal except the motor home point. Good point is that electric was included.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

We stayed over several weekends with our two kids and with or without friends at this lovely Campsite ind the "Altmühltal" next to Beilngries. Its located at the Altmühl, a little rover where xpu can go on boat tours and aöso next to the Kratzmühlsee woth minigolf, boat and sub rentals, a playground, a beachvolleyball cort and a restaurant. The campsite has a nice size, a playground with lots of sand, a italien restaurant with great pizza and nice places for campers and vans.
We love the Atmosphäre and the lake. Kids are always happy and so are we... we'll come back
