Lovely site right on the water. Quite steeply terraced and some pitches hard to get into and then not very level. Great value for money. Plenty to do in the nearby national park but not a lot to do within walking distance - it is a beach holiday resort. Best shop a \'Tommy\" with veg&fruit over 1km away but a nice walk along the sea front path. Do it early before the day warms up!! There is also a bakers/fruit stall/fish & chip shop/fruit & veg stall/local honey, wine and olive oil pitch on main road - from the seafront pathway. near the church follow the sign for \'fish & chips 70m\' and don\'t be discouraged when it is nearer 200m!
a little family camping and the water is so clear and nice.
You can walk, go by bicycle and even climb on mountains if you want.
Pleasant quite site next to waters edge. On window as you drive into campsite the ACSI logo is quite clear but in reception they say they no longer accept ACSI card! Plenty of shaded areas. No marked pitches. We stayed 2 nights, as not much to see/do in area.
A lot of work going on at the moment so everyone crammed into small section of camp. Restaurant and bar closed and very basic amenities.
We stayed here 2 days, While we had a beautiful view and the toilets were modern the downside was they didn't accept credit cards we were told kuna or euro only even though on ACSI it says cards are accepted,Also on ACSI it states restaurant open till end of October, We were there before that and it was all firmly closed, The cassette emptying points water supply was shut off so could not rinse cassette etc, The shower in the morning was barely luke warm, Such a shame
Receptionists very helpful. Spoke very good English. Some of the pitches are tiered. Only a small site so would imagine that it gets very crowded in the summer. Very close to a small pebble & shingle beach. Nice 20 minute walk into Starigrad along promenade. It is a bit uneven to start with but soon turns into a proper walkway. Only one toilet block but very up to date & spotlessly clean. Nice site if you want a very quiet holiday by the sea.
A lovely quiet site right on the waters edge in this beautiful area. Near to supermarkets and restaurants too. Many were using it as a base for visiting the national park.
Staff very friendly, showers etc spotless. Would definately visit again.
Whats not to like. The price is right, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pitch was perfect, the toilets and showers were primo, the sea was splendid, and we really enjoyed our time at this camp. Highly recommended. Own bakery and restaurant.
Very pleasant experience. Traveling as a single female I felt very safe. Mostly older couples and families camp here. The pebble beaches and concrete slabs were as expected. I would stay here again.
This site advertised an open restaurant and internet access. Both of which we required. It was annoying to say the least at the end of a long day ( there aren't many campsites open all year in Croatia and wild camping forbidden) to find neither. Please don't advertise these things if not available, we would have made alternative arrangements. Other than that the one gentleman on duty was very pleasant and the facilities adequate.
