We believe that the hotel and the campsite are now separate.
The toilets and showers are not clean with the showers flooding because the drains are blocked.
The chemical disposal point was dirty and infested with mosquitoes.
The staff were not up to the normal ACSI site standard.
This girl s a super campsite. Very quiet but with super facilities. New toilet block of a very high standard complete with dishwashing and clothes washing facilities. There is a supermarket on site not part of camp and a fantastic eating outlets with choice of eating places on site. Well recommended. As this camp site is part of an Hotel set up you can use the hotel for meals and bar facilities together with evening entertainment and a fantastic pool for children and adults. Came for a few days stayed a week!
Visited in May and dissapointed with toilet facilities - old block available only, updated block closed. Cold showers and cramped cubicles. Water coming from hotel and never got hot. No soap or means of drying hands. Public footpath through site nr coast, so security poor. Washing m/c difficult to access as only one, used by staff.
Nr to Paklenica National Park and supermarket.
A lovely spot. It's 2km to the Paklenika park entrance, so you can walk, though it will add a fair bit to a hike. You can do a range of walks, but if you want to walk down the Mala Paklenica Canyon, be warned that it's really tough, with scrambling and it's 3 hrs from the top to the entrance - so the whole circuit will be 8 to 9 hours at least. There are easier, quicker routes. There's no bus off season. Facilities fine. Pitches flat and we were able to park right next to the coast. Wi-Fi to pay at the hotel reception.
