Very basic site with old-fashioned but clean toilets. Partly under trees for tents and caravans. Half shaded part better for caravans. 150m from lagoon with beach. Perfect for children. Nin town in walking distance.

OK it may be a little old and tired, but they keep the facilities clean and its location is ideal for a great kitesurfing beach, expeditions to Nin and the surrounding area. Costs were very reasonable and in line with the ASCI prices. You pays your money and you get what you get!
We stayed in this campsite for a week, fantastic location. The lovely historic small walled city of Nin is only 15min walk away, Zadar 30min drive. this is a ideal place for families with small children. the beach is sandy and the water very shallow and warm. my boys loved catching crabs in the lagoon and swimming in the sea. we stayed at the bottom of the campsite with no shade but fantastic views. the upper part is mostly covered by mature trees that provide plenty of shade. The facilities are very basic but very clean. The whole washroom block appears to be assembled from spare parts but it works. Hot water costs for extra. but the cold water showers weren\'t too cold. We camped just below the terrace. after a couple of days we noticed a fluid collecting behind the caravan obviously originating from the wash facilities. upon notifying the owner . we were assured that this is no problem and would be fixed shortly. However it became more and it turned out to be sewage. the path to the beach became swampy with sewage. The sewage is always being pumped into the lagoon. but this time it ended up on our pitch and the path. if you consider to spread the black lagoon mud on your body as it is popular, be aware. As compensation we didn\'t get a discount but two free postcards
OK, so some of the facilities are somewhat tired but they are very clean, indeed the lady doing this practically follows you around! The real reason to stay here is that the location is really wonderful - just look at the pictures in the guide!
Fine beach once you get to it but can get very busy and if you want to swim, it's a long walk out until you are out of your depth. Beware of hidden objects and crabs beneath the water. Nearby town of Nin very attractive with several good value restaurants and historic sights. Do not even think of staying on this camp site if you need to know how much you will end up paying. On two occasions we were quoted daily rates which they did not stick to and we ended up paying much more when we checked out. They made up all sorts of rubbish about the season changing and that they had mis-quoted but it was all ridiculous. Needless to say, they would only accept cash payments and no hope of getting a receipt. Originally, we decided to stay because of the attractive location and despite the facilities being poor, they were kept clean. However, after our experience at check out, nothing would get us near there again.
Beautiful location but spoiled by poor facilities. Washing up is fine but toilets are poor and showers are terrible. We have a small van so rely on site facilities but only stayed one night as they were so bad.
There is also nice kiteboarding school there i think this is pege that you can check http://kiteboarding-croatia.com
