Great site with great beach and ocean. We stayed twice whilst in Croatia and the first stay was fantastic. Site is clean and modern and the facilities are pretty good. Only downside on the first trip was the food in the restaurant wasn\'t very nice and the server was a bit odd. The wine however was nice and the restaurant itself is very nice. Most of the staff were nice overall.
Unfortunately the second time we visited there was a dog outside barking continuously on the site from dusk until dawn when it started competing with the rooster which was quite funny. Raised this with the staff at reception and response was pretty much what do you want me to do about it. We\'d still stay again as it was the end of the season.

Definitely not 5 * as they advertise. Might have been when it was opened 5 years ago, but not now. pitches untidy/not cared for, sanitary areas pleasant/clean but already showing signs of wear and tear, very little maintenance/upkeep on show. Very little shade. Also, what they don\'t tell you is the sea view is of an Oil Terminal and the campsite is on the undershoot of the airport runway just half a mile to the threshold of runway 14. Great if you like watching Easyjet and Eurowings B737 on final approach .

great modern campindf, we enjoy staing there for 12 nights. very large pitches and great sea view for all acsi discount places which are very close to the sea. for sure we will come back. also taverna has great food and we enjoyed also the zoo part. toilets are clean and not smelling al all.

Wir bereits mehrfach auf dem Campingplatz Omisalj, dieses Mal von September bis Oktober 2023 für sieben Wochen. Und wir kommen immer wieder gerne, weil es wirklich ein toller Campingplatz ist. Allerdings benötigt man, um außerhalb etwas zu unternehmen, mindestens ein Fahrrad. Die Fahrpreise des Shuttles auf dem Platz sind etwas überteuert…
Zudem sollte man ein Auge darauf werfen, diesen noch recht jungen Campingplatz auch auf dem hohen Niveau zu halten, selbst wenn nur Kleinigkeiten zu tun sind (wackelige und schiefe Toilettenbrillen, fehlende Haken und ein fehlender Sichtschutz zwei Duschen in einem der Sanitäranlagen).
Nichtsdestotrotz: Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder in 2024 :)

A very nice campsite with excellent facilities. Everything was very clean and tidy.
Good recycling.
Our only criticism is why, oh why do they allow dogs in the restaurant? On the evening that we were in the restaurant there were 8 dogs in the restaurant. There is a very nice covered terrace, that dog owners could have used. They have separate beaches for the dogs, but no segregation in the eating areas.

Lovely clean toilet facilities - the temperature of the water was dependent on solar power so could be hit or miss, but we always managed to get a warm shower. I suspect in the summer months hot water will be plentiful. The site is ideal for motorhomes as every pitch is hardstanding with tiered views. Lovely cycling in the area.
