As said previously, a lovely welcome from all staff. We were asked to choose our pitch and it was carefully explained which pitches were ACSI priced and how much extra the others would be. Generous pitches, well kept campsite, spotless facilities, lots of places to dip into the sea and swim. Only two slightly negative points mainly that the only water available was at the toilet blocks and from some pitches (mainly the most expensive) this was quite a walk. Secondly the small supermarket at the neighbouring hotel complex was poor and very expensive. There are however supermarkets nearby but they are a walk. We will return next time we go to Croatia.
Good welcome with plenty of information. Early May, so not everything open. ACSI cc pitches under pine trees - good shade. Only few units on site but still toilet block cleaned several times a day. New toilet block nearing completion
Great place for weekend stays. Weary nice and helpful staff. Good location. Old town is 5 minutes away.
Stayed here 3 nights. The toilet facilities were first class. Army of staff constantly cleaning. There were plenty of shaded pitches to choose from at the ACSI rate. You could pay more or less double if you wanted a pitch closer to the sea. However unless you were on the first row then the extra to not get a sea view was not worth it. Good mountain bike and cycling tracks from the site . The nice coffee bar over liking the beach closed at 7 pm. Could not understand this as a beer late evening watching the sunset on loungers would have been great. Some campers took cans of beer tithe Rocky beach to do this.
After a long drive it was a real pleasure to arrive here. The 1st impression was of the happy, efficient gate man and the site continued to impress. We were on a gently sloping gravel pitch - gently sloping so everyone has a sea view, not just those who want to pay more. The pitches were extremely spacious. The toilet block, with mood lighting, was constantly kept clean. All the staff were friendly, efficient and spoke excellent English. When the lady in the bakery speaks 6 languages then good recruitment must be a priority. The short walk along the sea front to Novigrad is worth it, or the campsite runs a tourist train every half hour.Excellent free WiFi. In many years of caravanning across Europe and in the UK this is one of the best sites we have visited.
Lovely site with a variety of pitches to suit every need. Plots were well demarcated & good size for our 7.4 m motorhome. Stayed 2 nights on Standard pitch but then upgraded to huge pitch with water & drainage on hand. Did need levelling blocks but pitches were fairly level. Toilet facilities were first rate. I've seen poorer standards in 5 star hotels!! Coastline is fabulous with easy access into gorgeous Novigrad. Not a speck of litter anywhere!
Lovely base for a walk in to Novigrad. Gentle breeze, dappled shade and well laid out with glimpses of the sea accessible just below. Sunbathing on rock or man made ledges overlooking pleasant bay. Warning - very slippery to enter sea!
Very friendly reception man and very helpful. On the whole this is an overpriced site. Very close pitches, not very level and certainly a distinct lack of water taps. Toilet blocks were clean and tidy. Lots of people with dogs who not not seem to think it's their job to pick up poo even though there were plenty of bins with doggy bags. Too busy and too closely parked to each other. Would not go back for this reason.
Busy site with several camping sections and differing prices. Overall very pleased with the site and would come again - toilet facilities were constantly being cleaned and the staff very helpful.
A steady 20 minute walk into town - which is a super place and comes alive at dusk (get a cocktail and watch the sun set)
