Arrived and told to find an electricity point and come back and let them know! The areas allocated to asci were limited and all full of permanent caravans and very untidy, with debris everywhere. To be fair the areas which were not asci allocated had individual pitch boundaries and looked neat and tidy- not many of them occupied! After trying areas B3,4 5 and 6 and a considerable amount of time on a bike - this campsite was not for me - one of my better decisions this trip!
Nice clean and tidy site with a great view over Venice which is only 20 minutes away but hourly ferry. We we where out of season so very quiet
This is a very expensive site. The toilet facilities are very smart but unfortunately a strong smell of drains pervades. It feels like a cross between a car park and a refugee camp. The reception is very understaffed and not all staff have accurate information.
Very large, very busy and crowded campsite. Arrival was total chaos with campers and caravans parked up in the road trying to get into reception. Long queues in reception due to lack of staff, with various people pushing in, made it unpleasant. Take passports for booking in or you will have to come back again. Found out that Premium pitch that I had reserved and paid for was unavailable and told simply to go and find a space where I could. Spent half an hour trawling around looking for a pitch in a large motorhome which was not easy as so busy. Eventually found a reasonable spot, but nowhere near the Premium pitches and upgraded central facilities, also next to a busy walkway which was noisy until very late. However the toilet facilities despite not being the modern upgraded block were clean. Main resort area and facilities clean and very nice. Good restaurant and bar areas. Good Kids club with lots going on. Sea and pool area very busy, pool is saltwater next to sea.
This campsite has top notch toilet facilities, brand new, excellent. The ACSI pitches are terrible, totally uneven and all stuffed together without any space. I would recommend this site if you upgrade your pitch, ACSI pitches truly awful.
This site is a busy site, primarily Dutch campers with random other nationalities. The facilities were excellent but could be busy e.g. no sinks available in the morning. Reception was always busy with not enough staff on to cater for the customers, shops on site for touristy stuff and a decent supermarket for all your needs. Good entertainment for those who wanted to get involved.
The stay was ruined by a group of noisy, singing & fighting Norwegian pensioners. It was one night of mayhem which left a bad taste due to lack of site security managing the problem - up til 4 am was no fun!
Check in at reception was a bit fraught as ACSI advise you that "You only need the Camping Card to present for registration at any campsite", but for the first time we were required to present our Passports for Identity confirmation.
We woke up at 6 am with the loud sound of thunder and lightening. This whole show lasted for over 4 hours. Thanks to the natural campsite drainage in the middle of the campsite, roads became instant rivers and awnings sprouted waterfalls. For the campers at the bottom of the campsite the after effects of the torrential rain was horrible as they ended up in brown water lakes. It beggers belief that the campsite have not improved the drainage system for this part of the site. The swimming pool mentioned in 2006 is still being built.
