Can not recommend this site enough. Fantastic little site... don’t be out off by the distasteful caravans at the top of the road. Lovely new toilet block. Excellent showers. Short walk to beach. No bus but easy cycle ride to Porec. Restaurant also very good. Quiet and peaceful. Would definitely re visit
Brilliant campsite. I'll not repeat other reviews, except to say that the washrooms are the best I've ever seen on a campsite.
Excellent for those who want peace and quiet, young children and dogs are very well catered for. But, it's not the place to be for organised activities.
Nando's serve good food at a reasonable price.
The beach is beautiful.
What follows is practice information
Go out of the site and turn right. Just after the back of Nando's and easy to miss is a small shop on the right, good for basics and breakfast items.
Continue, keeping the neighbouring campsite on your left. Turn left before the football field. Follow the tarmac foot / cycle path to reach the beach. Turn left when you reach the coast. Polidor beach and bar isn't the first you reach.
Continue on the path to reach Funtana, an easy cycle ride or fair walk.
From the point where you meet the football field you can see the reception of the neighbouring site. They have a cash machine in reception and another in their large, on site shop.
Unless well out of season I'd book. It is a small site and, deservedly very popular.
beware the ripoff fees!
a lovely little site, with *very* good toilet facilities, marked out pitches by hedges on well drained gravel. however, I was charged extra just to book a pitch, which was extra to the overnight fee. the site was half empty and it was not necessary or explained it would be extra to the overnight fee. I have never paid this fee before in my 5 yrs of camping, but was told it was normal. I was not happy!
Fabulous site! Best toilet block I've ever seen! Air conditioned with music! Spotlessly clean very nice 5* - hot water as always a premium on campsites and here the flow is a bit slow! Nice bar side benches in pool but a lot of children using pool so nobody sat at bar drinking while in the pool! Train service to Polidor beach which I free but we cycled and it's great exercise and a lovely route! This is a great campsite- Porec by cycle route great but confusing signposting!
This thoughtfully landscaped campsite set amongst oak trees is one of the best we've ever visited. With just 70 touring pitches and a scattering of cabins and glamping tents around the edge, the atmosphere here is friendly and relaxed. There's a lovely pool area, good restaurant and an ultra modern sanitary block complete with vanity rooms and rainforest showers. Little ones are well catered for too, with their own bathroom, indoor play and tube slide to get down to it! All the facilities are kept spotlessly clean. The beach is a short walk or cycle away (about 800 metres) and Polidor has its own very swish beach bar with comfy seating and loungers. Staff will take you down there in the golf buggy if you ask, and in high season there's a little train. Cycle tracks run both ways along along the coast, with Poreč a leisurely hour away and Funtana 20-30 minutes. There's a good range of fresh bread available daily on site, but if you plan to stay a few days, best to get other provisions in before you get here, as the nearest shops are a little distance away. We loved our stay here and have already recommended the site to others.
