Reception/check-in needed to be at the touring site and not at the main holiday centre. We thought that there was a reasonable bus service to Brugge centre
Nice site to visit Bruges, helpful staff, great facilities, nice flat pitches. Good internet. 8/10. No motorway noise!
Having camped for over 40 years I can't remember a site which was better maintained than this one. The pitches were large and immaculately maintained. Power & water at the corner of each pitch which are demarcated with low level well maintained hedges. The only criticism we had was having to share a dongle for the use of hot water in showers. A bit of a nuisance when you have to take turns to have a shower. Easy access to the site from main highway and would certainly return. Please note that the reception during the low season is not at the campsite, we were fortunate to be shown the way - 300 m walk. This could have been better signposted. Really short drive to the Dunkirk port giving us a restful return to the UK. Recommended.
Just spent 4 nights here..first time in Belgium. all interactions with staff great...lovely pitch edged by hedges..shower block clean but didn\'t really use it....as extra for showers we decided to try out our 7 year old caravan\'s shower facility! excellent especially as tap right next to caravan...shared between 4 pitches ..play area looks ok...chinese didn\'t look particularly inviting. just our impression. easy cycle to Bruges slonv canal...definitely worth a visit...weather not great while here so didn\'t walk or cycle as much as intended...in hindsight 3 nights would have been ample...site very quiet as time of year...good for stopover...not much on village altho good supermarket...
The touring pitches are away from the main reception. In the center of static pitches. Toilet facilities clean and usable. Very good site for visiting Brugge and surrounds. There is noise from the nearby motorway but not excessive. Would use again but not in high season as would get extremely busy. Useful stopover from ferry if heading North as only an hour away from the ports.
Very busy with families with children, even out of the school holidays, as the weather was still good. The staff spoke English and were helpful. And the pitch was grassy and easy to put a tent up on. Showers were clean and warm.
We stayed here on our way to Italy. We actually stayed here at the end of March. We stopped for one night. It's near the motorway so it's great for a stopover. Pitches are good size and very level. Pitches have bushes separating them. Good pitch facilities water and electric. Showers were indoors so good for early in the season when it's cold. Very clean and pleasant. Reception staff were very friendly. There are supermarkets nearby within 5 min drive.
Nice clean & well maintained site with large pitches sectioned off with hedges. Some road noise from the motorway. Good location for visiting Bruges.
Stayed here for two nights on our way to the ferry at Zeebrugge. A nice site with good sized pitches and friendly staff, although we saw very little of them due to the short time we were there. Toilet facilities clean but a bit tired and not well looked after by some of the the other campers. The well publicised beach looked good but it is a long way from the touring pitches and was very busy when we were there as it is open to local residents. Local bus service is around a 15 minute walk from the site and tickets can be bought from reception
Highly convenient for Calais and the 1st WW sites, level and well maintained, staff very helpful and co-operative. Good value, but also be aware you need to drive through the village to access th3 site. Will continue to use this site as it is well presented and the pitches are hedged and private.
