good site, tree overhang a little low for our motorhome. be carefull of early departure as gate is locked and had to knock up owners for 8 am departure
Our pitch was in an overflow field that seemed like a poor version of the main site but at full price, and one of the most expensive of our whole trip. There was no security at all on this overflow pitch, the gate was left open all night.
Only Two washing up sinks, so a que to wash up.
No private sink cupbicals for washing in the toilets.
No loo paper & gents had no urinal apart from an outdoor one right next to the washing up in plain view, so gents toilets had pee all over them from messy kids and no loo paper to clean up.
No big bins for waste onsite so the bins were overflowing.
We were shown to our our pitch with dog poo in plain site.
Electric hook up was on a domestic extension lead with a plastic bag for water protection, there’s no way this is safe!
Very narrow approach driveway to find you have to do a 180 to the overflow camp area
No credit cards for a very expensive site without for-warning after booking.
Had a two night stop over on our way to Greece
Very pleasant run site not too far from the nearest town
Basic shop where one could order bread and milk
Little / no English spoken but the staff were extremely helpful
Our pitch was more than adequate for our needs caravan awning and car
First time on the site. We were made very welcome. But little English was spoken the facilities were spotless, pitches were a good size, pretty handy for ports and tunnel would use again
A very warm welcome from the receptionist upon arrival. Good flat pitches- didn't need the fiammas. Toilet/shower block looks new - very clean and water hot. Bread available to order from reception.
Great stopover site on route to or from the french ports. Stayed three nights. No English spoken, could communicate well though through signs, numbers of fingers etc! Bread rolls ordered every morning. Toilet block large and clean but no toilet paper. Easy access from the motorway and pitches large and good. Not far from the local town and beaches with access to the coastal tram.
As a UK site owner that often welcomes the Dutch, Belgians, Swiss and Germans, we are never once expected to speak their language, so, the comment "no English spoken" makes me smile. Wherever we pitch up, we can always communicate easily with pigeon French, German or English or hand gestures, and this lovely site was no exception. Lovely hosts in a quiet, well kept location. Copious facilities for the number of pitches, and a definite returner.
Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way back to the UK. We were greeted warmly, got booked in and got our gate fob (€5 but refunded on return of fob). The site is fairly small with large level pitches separated by small trees. The toilets and showers are kept very clean, you do need your own loo roll, but if you forget its sold in reception they also ask if you would like fresh bread in the morning. Its a nice flat cycle down to the beach and copious amounts of cafes and restaurants. The tram is just down the road if you wanted to travel up the coast. Its a lovely site, ideal for a stop over or longer if you wanted to explore Flanders. We will be using it again Im sure
Small camp site friendly owner, very peaceful and quiet, good clean facilities, level pitches.
