Travelling party: Couple

Tucked out of the way in the middle of the Ardenne a peaceful site on a river surrounded by forest. A narrow somewhat bumpy access road but we made it intact. Spacious if somewhat unkempt pitches (was start of the season), kayaking in the little village and lots of walks from the site. Need to have shopped before arrival as civilisation is a few miles away. We enjoyed the tranquility and back to nature feel of the place and would return

Travelling party: Couple

Spent one night here and could have easily stayed longer, site is perfect for nature lovers. Had a riverside pitch and enjoyed watching the kingfishers and other birds hunting. Quiet in September when we visited which is ideally for us, toilets very clean, will return if ever in the area again.

In our first trip to Belgium and disappointed of Bredene area we travel to this campsite and stay for the rest of our trip ,fantastic atmosphere ,beautiful surrounds,so meany things to do , the staff and owners are so friendly ,if you want to enjoy nature in Belgium this is the best place to be , only thing I found but is in all campsites they don\'t have toilet paper ,so bring or buy your own , 90 % of the pitches have the river view and access , just perfect

Travelling party: Seniors

An excellent site deep in the Ardennes forest. Get a pitch by the river if you can and chill out watching the wildlife. Lots of walks in the area and canoeing on the river.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here for 3 nights in June in our campervan. We were in an idyllic spot on pitch 101 where the river splits round the island. It is such a peaceful place. We were able to watch ducks, a couple of swans, a heron and a muskrat from our pitch.
There is a small shop in Poupehan and there is a bar on the campsite. The Dutch owners are really friendly and speak good English.
The facilities are good and clean. Only one downside was that we were only allowed one electronic key for the showers, which meant we couldn't shower at the same time. Also there was no toilet roll, but this seems to be the norm in Belgium.
Washing up is outside but under cover.
This is a really well kept site and we loved it here. We definitely hope to return one day.

Beautiful surroundings , watch the river rolling through the valley from your tent!! Spotless toilet facilities. Very relaxed helpful staff.
Be careful with the childrens play area as the safety standard is not high...definitely at your own risk.
We had a great stay here and would love to go back.
