At Campsite De Binnenvaart in Houthalen (Limburg) camping costs as little as €19,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. Reasonably large campsite. Very large pitches for touring campers in the middle of the grounds. There is a lake next to the campsite. The site borders a large recreation park with a restaurant and fishing pond. There is also a snack bar on the site itself.

Travelling party: Couple

It would appear from a review in 2010 that very little as changed. Little more than a building site with no more investment in upgrading the facilities.The toilets were in desperate need of renovation (or condemned) having not seen any cleaners attend to them during our 2 night stopover. The only positive aspect was the each pitch on section G were well serviced with water, electricity and TV point. Sparing with information at reception also.
