Travelling party: Couple

Easy access from the motorway, but you will have to negotiate 100 metres of craters. The entrance looks run down and neglected. Lady in reception was helpful in trying to select us a pitch with shade. Each pitch is provided with a wheel rim for fires. Ours was full of cans, bottles, rubbish and meat bones so we were unable to use it. No food available in restaurant - too early in the year apparently! Location to the town was via a lovely canal walk. We were booked for 3 nights but left after 2. A little bit of work and TLC would really benefit this site, which is at a lovely location.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for 2 weeks July 2015 shaded riverside pitch, good views, owners and staff very friendly. Small but nice bar excellent food (not Mondays or Tuesdays for food) Toilets and showers small but just enough and kept very clean. Supermarket within easy walking distance, would highly recommend to any one especially with kids that like to play in water.
