Campsite Houtum is a campsite with 70 touring pitches and 105 year round pitches. During low season, between 01-01-2019 - 26-06-2019 and 18-08-2019 - 31-12-2019, the nightly rate is €18,- at one of the 70 touring pitches at Campsite Houtum in Kasterlee (Antwerp). At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).
Campsite with an excellent restaurant close by. You will find more than 250 km of footpaths in the surroundings.

Prima camping, veel wandel en fiets mogelijkheden. Kasterlee is een leuk plaatsje en Turnhout op fiets afstand. Twee minpuntjes de WIFI verbinding was zwak en vaak viel het helemaal weg en er mogen wel wat watertappunten bij komen. Maar buiten dat we hebben we hier een fijne vakantie gehad.

Mooie camping in een leuke omgeving. Gelegen aan wandel- en fietsknooppunten. Wij hadden een ruime staanplaats voor onze camper.

Schön gelegener Campingplatz mit großen Stellplätzen. Strom und Wasser direkt am Platz. Die sanitären Anlagen sind hervorragend, es gibt sogar Fussbodenheizung. Die Betreiber sind freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern und Radfahren ein. Auch wenn das Wetter durchwachsen war hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Helemaal vernieuwde site, vriendelijke ontvangst, zeer behulpzaam. Wi-Fi perfect , Directe aansluiting op fiets en wandelroutes. Veel horeca in de omgeven. Bakker, winkels, ... allemaal binnen straal van 1.5 km van de camping.
Enige minpuntje is misschien om af te wassen , dat moet verbeteren , Zeker een aanrader, ons zien ze nog terug!

De afwasbakken zijn sinds gisteren helemaal vernieuwd en afgewerkt. Kom ze zeker zelf een keertje uit proberen ;)

Enige minpuntje is misschien dat het terrein nog nieuw is aangelegd, maar dat komt helemaal goed! Zeker een aanrader, ons zien ze nog terug!

Na sluitingstijd toegekomen mochten we zelf een plekje uitzoeken en de volgende dag aanmelden. Super vriendelijk geholpen. Overdekte speeltuin vlakbij is een lust voor de (klein)kinderen tot 10 jaar. Hier en daar moet nog wat afgewerkt worden en als de hagen volgroeid zijn zal het nog beter ogen. Het enige minpuntje is de naastgelegen feestzaal waar in het week-end wel eens tot laat (vroeg) feestgedruis weerklinkt.
ATTENTION: if you have been to this camping before 2014, do not take the old entrance road unless you want to practice reverse backing out skills with your caravan/camper. New entrance is across address Kasterlee, Houtem 50.
