Campsite in the beautiful, typical village of De Weere in the centre of West Friesland (North Holland). In the middle of farmland and not far from the old cities of Hoorn, Medemblik, Schagen, Alkmaar and Enkhuizen. The beach and the IJsselmeer/Markermeer are not very far from the campsite.

Travelling party: Couple

Clean, flat, open site behind owners house. Surrounded by open fields and farming. We stayed 3 nights when temp dropped to 1-3 degrees so had blown air heating in our van on lowest setting (500w) for a max of 12 hours. Disconnected EHU in day and ran on gas/solar. We were shocked to be told we’d used 39kw and the extra bill at the end really took the shine off our stay. Also told we could only pay in cash! Unfortunately, we felt as thoug
