Travelling party: Seniors

After a rather difficult drive through small villages with narrow roads, this site was a real gem! So glad we carried on to find it! Large pitches in beautiful well mown grass field. The view is exceptional and with peace and quiet the most wonderful site. Facilities were clean and tidy, everything exactly to our taste. Carcassonne about 30 minutes away, and local villages well worth a visit.

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed three nights here and although the weather wasn’t great we really enjoyed the campsite and the surrounding area. It’s an easy drive to Carcassonne (30 minutes) and just over an hour to Toulouse. There are lovely walks in the area ( ask at the excellent Tourist Office in Saissac for information) and lots of interesting villages to visit. The campsite is very well managed with large private pitches. There’s a lovely swimming pool but it was closed when we were here. The main sanitation block was closed as well but the smaller block was fine and well maintained. There were very few other campers staying and it was very quiet and peaceful. We would certainly come back if we were in this area again.
