Lovely clean municipal campsite with spacious pitches in a beautiful rural setting. Stopover campsite with exit 33 in Poussan (A9). Quiet location, ideal for visiting Sète and Mèze via a cycle path (access 100 m from the campsite entrance). There is a ferry between Sète and Mèze.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely find with an old railway armac cycle route to Meze and also round the lagoon towards Sete. Restaurant was excellent. Area is heaven for Oyster and Mussel lovers with optionds within walking and cycling distance. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Top it all we had Red Squirrels hopping about in front of the van early one morning. Will definety be back.

This is a typical municipal campsite, with excellent staff and facilities. It’s been upgraded since we were last here with bornes for water and electricity for every 4 pitches. This means you can have a water pipe continuously connected to your unit. The Motorhome facilities have been upgraded as well. 2 disabled toilets and 2 disabled showers. This is a busy campsite - a favourite for French and Dutch. Most pitches are of a size to allow large Motorhomes with their awnings, a tent and a car! The restaurant serves good food, specialising in mussels and oysters straight from the nearby etang. Whether you feel it’s expensive or not depends on your lifestyle and budget. A lot of campers stay for weeks at a time because of the weather, price and nearby town of Meze. There is no swimming pool and the facilities for children are not extensive, so there are few children on site. This means that it is generally a fairly peaceful friendly site. Highly recommend.

Fantastic peaceful site. Great restaurant which unusually was open right up until the site closed in mid October. Highly recommended!
