Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed at this delightful campsite run by a lovely helpful family. Beautiful surroundings, lake with variety of fish.Ideal area for cycling and visiting villages and beauty spots.

Travelling party: Couple

Pros :A nice little campsite. Basic facilities, dated but super clean.Very helpful owners. Bread and pastries to order. Plenty of shade. The neighbours are buffalo! The site is not overrun with statics - just a couple as well as some bell tents. Pitches are a good size and pretty level.

Cons: On some pitches very long cables are needed, and some are French two pin plugs. The new motorhome service area is excellent, but can only be accessed as you enter the site, and then with care as it has been delimited by large (damaging!) rocks. Larger units will need skillful drivers. The road runs along the campsite and can be surprisingly noisy when the road is busy, but otherwise peaceful. The disabled toilet and shower are separate.

We loved our stay and hopefully will use this site again when the lake is not so much a mud puddle due to the drought. Bird life is fun to watch.
