Pleasant campsite on the main road just past Opi - little road noise but occasional animal noise from the geese or donkey in residence. The pig/boar was very quiet! The hardstanding pitches to the left of reception were difficult to get into and we only have a small van. It is not really wide enough as we then had to get out onto wet grass as it had rained. The toilet/shower block was OK and probably heated in winter but no hooks or shelves in the showers - just hooks in the corridor bit running alongside the showers which meant that if someone opened the inner door to the shower section and the outer door was also open - we could be seen! Very convenient for sightseeing and particularly for the Abruzzo park area with walks just a few metres down the road. Lukewarm to cold water for washing up and wifi only available at the bar/restaurant area. However the problem with this campsite is the cassette toilet emptying at the motorhome service point which appears to be very old and drains into the river!!! The mesh covering the drain is not a good idea and it is generally quite disgusting and should not have passed an inspection. We also found that people had been emptying the cassette toilet down the grey water drain which did not appear to go into the river but there is no tap or flush so that waste just sits there. This must be rectified urgently.

Pleasant site with acceptable facilities. Had a nice meal in the restaurant and heard the wolves but never saw them or the Bears!

Toiletten en douches rampzalig versleten, maar vier uur per dag warm water, (verspreid over de dag). Winkel gesloten in voorseizoen. Omgeving is wel een plus maar het ligt op hoogte dus kan wel wat frisser zijn. De douches waren zonder deur of douche gordijn. Toen wij vertrokken werden die aangebracht omdat er een week later een reisgroep van de ANWB langs zou komen.

Good, basic site located in attractive surroundings within National Park (Park info centre & walks nearby). Reasonable, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Friendly & very helpful owner, who speaks good English. We would use site again.

Heerlijk rustige camping, veel vuurvliegjes! Prachtige omgeving. Wij waren er in een 12-14-16 euro periode, zij vroegen de hoogste prijs, wat o.i. niet helemaal terecht was.
