Route:

A7, take exit 43 to Peñiscola. Camp site indicated on the boulevard. Take the Peñiscola exit on the N340. Continue on boulevard to Benicarlo. Camp site located 6 km on Avenida Papa Luna. There is a sign before the EL Edén restaurant/camp site.

Goed plaatsen met voldoende schaduw Camping is een aanrader voor overwinterraars. Die zijn er dan ook volop.

Hele fijne en gezellige camping met zeer schone sanitair. Goede fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden. De bomen staan een beetje ongelukkig, maar er zijn genoeg goede plekken waar je met caravan en auto kan staan. 21 September vinden we een beetje late datum voor de ACSI-Card.

We hadden voornamelijk positieve beoordelingen gelezen over deze camping en hadden hierdoor wellicht te hoge verwachtingen. Ligging is goed, maar camping viel ons erg tegen. Bomen staan soms heel ongelukkig op plaats, waardoor caravan en auto moeilijk te plaatsen waren. Sanitair viel eveneens tegen qua hoeveelheid, grootte en schoonhouden. De ingangsdatum voor prijzen van het laagseizoen was pas 21 september, erg laat gezien andere campings in Spanje.

Een gezellig gelegen camping. Helaas mis ik een toegankelijk terras aan of bij het zwembad waar je een hapje en een drankje kunt gebruiken. Er is wel een poolbar waar je (zittend op een kruk in het water) een biertje kunt drinken. De standplaatsen zijn schaduwrijk en hebben een eigen aanrecht en spoelbak inclusief kraan. Boulevard is erg gezellig. Je kunt een dansje maken op het grote terras van Hotel Papa Luna (iedere avond live muziek!). Oude centrum bij de haven is een aanrader. Winkeltjes en terrasjes zijn aawezig. Kortom: Peniscola is de moeite waard.

Een goede camping voor een gezin met niet al te jonge kinderen. Ligt dichtbij een gezellige boulevard en strand.
