When entering Salamanca from any direction: follow the signs to Plaza de Espańa, then follow the signs towards the town of Aldealengua. The camp site is located on the right 2 km down the road.

Deze camping ligt om Salamanca te bezoeken uitstekend. Dat is te doen op de fiets langs de rivier, maar het was toen wij daar waren erg buiig en wij hebben dat met de auto gedaan. Hadden zeker meer tijd nodig voor Salamanca, maar gezien weer, koud en buien zijn wij na één nacht verder gegaan. Camping is een echte stadscamping en door het weer modderig. Toiletgebouw is redelijk maar de ingang voor de heren moet zeker nog worden aangelegd. Wifi in de kantine te duur en is niet meer van 2010!! Voor Salamanc komen wij nog wel een keer terug, maar niet voor de camping!

Toen we de camping op kwamen rijden schrokken we : alle bomen heel kort afgezaagd!! Geen gezicht. Sanitair was minimaal, geen haakje of plankje, straal water zo uit het plafond. Je kon fietsen naar Salamanca maar pad was niet al te best.

Ontvangst door zeer vriendelijke meneer die voldoende Engels spreekt. Voor het eerst moeten we allebei het inschrijfformulier tekenen. De plaats mogen we zelf uitzoeken, de camping is al redelijk bezet met vooral Nederlandse gasten. De plaatsen zijn afgezet met heggen en voldoende ruim. De camping is nog niet volledig in bedrijf, er wordt nog gras gemaaid en heggen geknipt. In de nabijheid is een vrij drukke weg en een spoorlijn waardoor we besluiten maar 1 nacht te blijven.
Aankomst 19 mei, vertrek op 20 mei 2010.

Een zeer armoedige camping geen schaduw plekje alle bomen gekort. Zwembad was nog niet open maar er zat zeer smerig water in. 1 juni was ik er en moest open gaan, maar nee, dus. Ik weet niet waar Ton Evers het vandaan haalt mooi zwembad. Sommige gasten laten hun hond uit op de camping terwijl je mooie uitlaat plaats hebt buiten de camping. Fietsen naar Salamanca gaat wel maar over zand/grind pad 6.5 km. Ik vind het geen aanrader, tarief was te duur voor deze camping.
