We stayed at La Viorna for 10 days and the site was absolutely great. The pitches weren't huge but they were terraced so that you didn't feel crowded.
The facilities were superb and the toilets and showers were pristine and kept that way all the time. We would stay there again if we were in that area and would recommend it to our friends.
The views were fantastic and the free WiFi was great.

Prima gezinscamping in een prachtige omgeving. Receptie is erg behulpzaam en heeft zeer goede tips voor dagtochten. Echt een aanrader, reserveer in het hoogseizoen wel.

Our first trip to Spain with the caravan. From main road into hills is fairly torturous with overhangs/cliffs, and narrow in places...beware.
Stunning views, nice pool and bar area with locals eating there as well. Terraced pitches, most not large, but okay. Ours had superb views over pool and mountains. Hook ups a bit hit and miss (not unusual for Spain), needing scramble up bank to plug in. Free wi-fi under solid canopy. Can well recommend, and not too far from Santander.
Excellent walks from site.
Potes well worth a look.

Picos de Europa - und mittendrin dieser schöne Terrassen-Camping. Man steht auf Gras und viele Bäume spenden Schatten. Sanitär ist sauber, aber Duschen und Toiletten befinden sich in einem Raum. Das Betreiberpaar ist sehr freundlich und in ihrem Restaurant sitzt man gemütlich und es schmeckt. Die Umgebung ist ein TRAUM! Man kann unzählige Wanderungen machen und hat längst nicht alles gesehen. Auch ein Besuch in Potes, dieser kleinen, quirligen Stadt, lohnt sich. Ein wunderschönes Urlaubsziel.

Wij, bijna senioren, brachten twee weken door op camping La Viorna in juli/augustus 2009. Een mooie camping waar de vriendelijke medewerkers veel zorg besteden aan de gasten, het sanitair en de netheid van de camping. La Viorna ligt in de prachtige Picos de Europa. Het vlakbij gelegen Fuente De is een El Dorado voor wandelaars. Beslist een aanrader.
