Located on the shores of the Veluwemeer lake. An excellent location for watersports enthusiasts. Many cycling and walking opportunities in the surrounding area. Camping Flevostrand has spacious camping pitches by the water or behind the dikes. Mid-2010: a new activity complex including a restaurant and bar, indoor swimming pool, supermarket and boat and bike hire.

De toiletgebouwen werden haast niet schoon gemaakt toen wij er waren. De camping was ook een grote bouw plaats omdat ze voor een nieuwe winkel, restaurant en dergelijke aan het maken waren(dit was niet vermeld bij het boeken) waardoor het zwembad van 2 vierkante meter verborgen lag achter grote bergen zand en omdat er niets aangegeven staat op de camping dus ook moeilijk te vinden. Bij de receptie is het personeel niet op de hoogte van het geen er georganieseerd word bij een vraag waar er darten was kreeg ik als antwoord is er darten dan dat weten we niet. Bij het inleveren van de slagboom kaart was het ja bedankt tot ziens.

Een ruim opgezette camping, echter in het naseizoen zeer dun bevolkt. Om die reden waren de faciliteiten, waaronder het restaurant, niet of nauwelijks beschikbaar.

Hele fijne camping. Er zijn megaveel wc's en douches in verwarmde gebouwen. Geen muntjesgedoe, geen drukknopdouches. Mooie ruime douches en toiletten, heel schoon en ook nog in iedere wc een toiletbrilreiniger. Toiletpapier, je hoeft dus niet met je rol onder je arm naar de wc. Geen afgebroken of vervallen stacaravan gezien. Goed gesorteerde supermarkt, aardig personeel, niet extreem duur. Zijn niet in het restaurant geweest, maar dat was steeds goed bezet dus het zal wel goed zijn. Beetje klein (overdekt) zwembad, maar vlak aan het Veluwemeer zodat je ook af kunt koelen in natuurwater. Er is wel animatie denk ik, maar daar hou ik niet van dus heb ik er niet zo op gelet. Wel een of ander kinderhonk, voor in het hoogseizoen neem ik aan. Camping is erg langgerekt, neem de fiets mee!

Mooie camping met kleine kampeervelden en op elk veld speeltoestellen voor kleine kinderen. Ruime plaatsen.
