Na een groot fiasco bij 3 campings aan het Gardameer, waar ze wel heel gemakkelijk hun geld willen verdienen, kwamen we aan op Riva di San Pietro. Een hele knusse familiecamping waar we ons direct thuis voelden. Een prachtige omgeving met een geweldig uitzicht op de eilanden in het meer.

De vriendelijke eigenaren staan altijd voor je klaar met tips en informatie. Het zwembad is klein maar zeer goed onderhouden door de strenge badmeester, in het heldere water van het meer kun je heerlijk zwemmen. In het restaurant waar je dagelijks verse broodjes kon krijgen tref je vriendelijke medewerkers, het avondeten is eenvoudig maar niet duur. Het sanitair is in perfecte staat en word meermaals per dag gepoetst.

We hadden een geweldige plek aan het water waar we iedere ochtend wakker werken met de eendjes en ontbeten met ons heerlijke uitzicht. Marone is een goede basis om de omgeving te verkennen we zijn zelfs met de trein naar Venetië geweest.
We komen zeker nog eens terug!!

Een van de beste campings die ik ooit heb bezocht: zeer hartelijke eigenaren die echt alles doen om het je naar de zin te maken. Alles wordt zeer goed onderhouden. Je kunt gebruikmaken van koelkast en vriezer, wat erg handig is.
Zwembad is niet groot, maar voor de kinderen prima. Je springt ook zo vanaf de camping in het meer. Het uitzicht op het Isola Loreta is werkelijk adembenemend!
Geen animatie op de camping, maar genoeg Nederlandse speelkameraadjes en veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving. Boottochtje over het meer is een aanrader!
Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Wij hadden op deze camping geboekt voor 3 weken toen wij aankwamen was er geen plaats meer zei de eigenaresse terwijl wij de mail bij ons hadden. Na veel aandringen toch een plaats gekregen ergens achteraf op de camping. De toiletten en douches werden echt zeer slecht bijgehouden en waren gewoon smerig. En er was een aantal hollanders die dacht daar de dienst uit te maken met hun BMW's en Mercedessen. U kunt raden wat voor volk het was en zij bleken hier al vele jaren te komen en dus mochten zij alles. Na een week zijn we verder gereden naar een camping Eden 20 kilometer verderop waren we nog 2 heerlijke weken hebben gehad.

Een vreselijke camping: één keer, maar nooit meer. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n puinhoop meegemaakt en de wc's vies amai en de eigenaar een groot chagerijn. Nee geef ons maar een camping een paar kilometer verderop.

Al sinds mijn vijftiende kom ik hier met tussenpozen; vroeger op de 'oude' camping. Dit jaar voor het eerst op de 'nieuwe' camping. Plek blijft fantastisch! Mijn hart ligt hier, maar de kampeerplaatsen zijn erg krap geworden. Sanitair en andere voorzieningen uitermate goed! Sfeer nog steeds zo leuk als vroeger. Dorp is erg veranderd ten goede en gemakkelijk lopend te bereiken. Ook voor utistapjes naar bijvoorbeeld Verona, Bergamo en Brescia zit je hier centraal. De pyramides van Zone mag je ook niet missen. Fietsen is en blijft levensgevaarlijk hier, alhoewel de weg al een stuk minder druk is geworden door de aanleg van de nieuwe weg. Al met al, hier komen we zeker weer terug!
