Probably the biggest advantage of camping in low season...

Our CampingCard is first and foremost a discount card. Money saved by camping in these bargain periods can be used for any number of enjoyable pursuits. However, another reason for camping outside the high season – and for some the biggest advantage is relaxation.

You avoid congested roads, the sites are quieter, you rarely need to reserve a pitch and the staff have much more time and attention for you. Additionally the local sights and museums around your camp site are less crowded. In other words: everything you need for a relaxing and carefree holiday awaits you. We hope you will make the most of it!

Conditions for use

The CampingCard ACSI is valid for one calendar year and is non-transferable, so please fill in the relevant details on the back of the card and sign it. The campsite may ask you for identification to prevent incorrect use of the card. You can use your CampingCard in the low season – this is usually every month of the year except July and August.

Reservation

A reservation with your CampingCard is in fact considered a normal reservation, only the overnight rate is lower. A reservation made a long time in advance by a CampingCard holder can be a problem for the camp site. In such cases a camp site may not be willing to accept your advance reservation. When making a reservation please mention that you are a CampingCard holder. If you leave this behind there is a chance that you will be required to pay the normal rate. There are also some sites where advance reservation is never possible.

Payment conditions

In principal you can pay with CampingCard on departure. But payment conditions, that is the time when you are required to pay or pay a deposit, may in some circumstances be determined by the camp site's own policy. If for example you announce that you will be staying for just one night or want to reserve in advance the camp site may ask you to pay a deposit. The camp site reception will inform you of their policy in this respect.
